If I may show my age a bit (and boast a little heh), I played around with this way back in UT99/Q3 days and won some local LAN tournaments after I figured the above out. Most mice setups Default to 'accelerated' mode, where if, you move your mouse say, one inch to the left the on-screen cursor moves over one inch - but if you move your mouse one inch to the left really fast then the on-screen cursor moves way over to the left really far - THAT is "accelerated mouse sensitivity" and while it can help sniping and smaller movements because it slows down when you do, it mostly janks up fast combat where you want to whip the mouse to where you want it, then stop it and shoot. If it helps (you or anyone else), try adjusting your Mouse Sensitivity. but once you get used to it, it eliminates 'when an animal changes direction and your Deadeye targets some random part of the animal' - it really gives you nice control over it AFTER you get used to it, heh. If I may "Second" this ^ I didn't like "Manual Deadeye Targeting" at first either. It just needs a little getting used to.Īlso if you haven't changed the input for tagging it should be Q not G. You can tag heads all the time rather than the 1st spot in a body your crosshair hits. Originally posted by HoLYAssAsIN:It is a solid upgrade.
